The BAND App

The BAND App is one of the ways we communicate with groups of parents/guardians at TDC. We post important dates, notices, events, reminders, and special shop deals in the BAND groups. You can also interact with us by commenting or chatting via the app.

The following are the BAND groups we have available to join. Joining the BAND app groups is optional with the exception of our Preschool Academy and Performance Team groups. Please view our 'Communication' page to see the other ways we communicate with our families as well.

  • Preschool Academy Parents (babyballet classes)

  • Junior Academy Parents (Kindy - Year 2)

  • Elementary/Intermediate Academy Parents (School Years 3-6)

  • Senior/Advanced Academy Parents (School Years 7 and above)

  • ALL TDC Families

  • Performance Team

How to BAND

Important: This app is for ages 17 and above only. Please ensure to enter your correct birthdate when creating your account

STEP 1 

Option A 

● Using a web browser go to band.us/home 

● Click the Sign Up button to create an account. If you already have an account then login instead. 

Option B 

● Using a phone or tablet, go to your store such as Google Play or Apple App store 

● Search the store for BAND - App for all groups (Icon is bright green)

● Download the app to your device 

● Open the app and follow the prompts to create your account

All TDC BAND groups are private and managed by our admin and teacher teams. 

Note: Please ensure you use a first and last name in your profile. We won’t accept accounts with only one name due to security reasons. (If you are using the Google, Facebook or Apple login options, please note that it will pull your profile name information from those sources. You may need to  adjust your name in those accounts to show correctly on your BAND profile)

 

STEP 2

Once you have set up your BAND account, join the BAND groups for the 'All Families' and any academies your child/ren are in. Click the appropriate button below to join the BAND groups.

As the groups are private and managed by our admin team, you will not be automatically added until we approve your request. If your profile does not show a first and last name you will not be approved.

Notifications

Set your notifications to your own liking or schedule a time to check the band regularly to make sure you are up to date with what is going on at TDC.
